The series of images at the top were created for an interactive online oceanography test aimed at high schoolers. They appeared as part of the results page one would view after completing the test. Originally the mermaid was created as a result image for those who scored highest on the test (since who knows more about the sea than someone who lives in it, and also I felt the female character representation would be appreciated by women's libbers - D.W.), but the NOSB finally declared it "offensive" or at least too "sexual" and we were forced to replaced it with a whale lounging in an cushy chair drinkin' lemonade and watching movies.
