All DVDs listed below are Single Layer and have Chapter Stops (unless otherwise noted). All have picture amd sound quality MUCH BETTER than VHS tape and VCD. {A 6 out of 10 on a DVD scale is generally better than a 10 on a VHS tape scale.} The quality on these DVDs is comparable to that of there LD counterparts. Sometimes the LD is sharper looking, other times the DVD looks better. The end result is determined by quality control maintained during the mastering process. Invariably the DVD is more convienient, is usually cheaper and offers uninterupted viewing as well as other interactive features LDs don't. All DVDs shown here are currently available.   Early Summer 1998

Hong Kong's Media Asia re-released Police Story I, II, and III on DVD in a limited edition collector's box. The unique black box contains a silver plaque with Jackie's name, a strip from the 35mm film print of one of the Police Story films, 2 postcards, and 3 individually packaged DVDs featuring remastered surround sound for the first time. Only 500 sets were produced and some were even personally autographed by Jackie Chan. All proceeds from the sets go to charity. The DVDs themselves are exactly the same as the ones sold individually.
