Rei was terrified by the light and began to run.

Steel shells belched from gatling guns as Rei weaved down the street.

What have I done? Rei wondered as shells screamed by her head. People scrambled out of the way as bullets and debris flew in all directions.

Rei lunged into a small alley, her rusted body fighting every step.

A large wall loomed before her, blocking her chance of escape.

Fear gripped Rei as she began to look for a way out.

Rei spied a small grate near one of the walls.

The light flooded the alley and moved in for the kill.

Rei lunged at the grate and clawed madly at it. Her decrepit body groaned and threatened to rip apart as Rei pulled the grate from the ground.

The light was upon her and its guns ROARED in fury!!
